Bonjour, friends! How are you? How was your holiday? Are you ready to say goodbye to 2016 or do you want to hold on just a little bit longer? Frankly, we are ready to bring in a new year. We had many blessings this year, but we also had a lot of stress, health issues, personal matters, and work overload. Plus, we are looking forward to the birth of WorldTowning in January. Woo Hoo! It is going to be a wild ride, get ready. We’re currently in Aix-En-Provence.
ROUND UP time!
WORLDTOWNING: I know, we have been talking about it for months, but no one really knows what it is. Sometime next month we will be launching our new travel life business. It has been a lot of work, hence my sporadic posting here on GGG, but worth every minute. I have read that if you can go through the stress of buying a house and starting a business with your partner than you can accomplish anything. Yep, I can attest to that. We have done both and we actually survived. Keeping those fingers crossed. Thank you to everyone who has been a sounding board, collaborator, therapeutic friend and much more through this whole process. We could not have done it without all of you. Bisous.
THE DANISH WAY: If I had young kids, I would definitely consider a move to Denmark. What do you think? Have they got it all figured out?
IS OUR PROFESSIONAL LIFE NORMAL? Many would say no, but it seems that digital nomads are going from niche to normal. If you are just starting your career, do you desire a digital nomad way? If you are retired, would you have loved this when you were in the work force? You all know how much we love it. This work environment definitely fits well for Will and I.
WILD CHILD: Are you raising a wild child?
QUITTING YOUR JOB TO TRAVEL THE WORLD: This article has some great advice. Can you relate to any of it? I love the bit about always having enough money to leave a bad situation. Which one is your favorite and why?
LIVING IN FRANCE – European Christmas Markets
My plan is to share discoveries, observations and randomness from days in France. Of course, there will be lengthier posts on the information that deserves more air time, but so much is happening, it cannot all be in one post.
AIX EN PROVENCE: A couple of days before Christmas, we took an overnight trip back to Aix-En-Provence to visit the Christmas markets, rest and soak up family time before my parents arrived and the holiday madness began. We had a lovely 24 hours in this cute city. Our family visited the markets, ate well, made a quick trip to the Apple store to replace my screen, swam in the hotel pool and slept like babies. It was just what the doctor ordered for all of us.
Have a fabulous New Years weekend. I will be back on Monday to ring in the new year with all of you.
